Jaron and the Long Road to Love features Jaron Lowenstein, who previously found pop success with his brother in the duo of Evan and Jaron. The duo gained attention for songs in the soundtracks of Runaway Bride and Serendipity. Born in Tucker, Georgia, and raised in Atlanta, Lowenstein now lives in Nashville, where he continues to write music and record. Jaron and the Long Road to Love's debut single, "Pray for You," was released to country radio in late 2009.
