Country Stars at the Appy Fair!
The Rabbit welcomed an exciting lineup of country stars to the Appalachian Fair!

The Rabbit and WXBQ proudly joined the Appalachian Fair to welcome a super slate of top country music stars to the Main Stage at the 2002 fair. The nine-day Appalachian Fair opened on Friday, August 16th with Lee Greenwood and Sandi Patty on stage. With his popular anthem "God Bless The U.S.A.", Greenwood kicked off the patriotic theme that was kept alive by the WXBQ Rabbit each night of the fair. Tracy Byrd entertained on the second night, and funny man Cledus T. Judd made a return appearance on night three. On Tuesday it was Neal McCoy returning for the second year in a row, and Trace Adkins heated up the stage on Wednesday. The popular fun on stage trio Trick Pony was the entertainment on Thursday. On Friday evening the first show was handled by newcomer Rodney Adkins, and in the second show Chris Cagle played to a packed house. Blake Shelton finalized the excitement of the fair with his performances on Saturday evening.
