The crowd screamed, waved, threw hats into the air, and some even danced as Lila McCann, Mark McQuinn, and South 65 entertained at WXBQ's One Hot Country Night Saturday, June 30th at Bristol Motor Speedway. Thousands of WXBQ fans came to the meadow at the speedway for this second installment...One Hot Country Night. The outdoor concert was opened by South 65 one of country music's hottest new male vocal groups. Mark McQuinn then took the stage to play his own kind of music and wear his own style of hat. His biggest applause was for "Mrs. Steven Rudy". Last up was the featured 19-year-old country music singing sensation
Lila McCann who wooed her fans with "I Want To Fall In Love" and "Come A Little Closer". Then the evening was capped off with a 4th of July fireworks show.
No doubt about it...it was One Hot Country Night. Everyone had a great time and a portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit Speedway Children's Charities. For the hottest concerts and the biggest shows...there's only one...96.9 WXBQ.
