Ned Michaels is a seasoned broadcast newcaster who began his association with Bristol Broadcasting Company in 1969. Ned was away from the Tri-Cities for a few years working in the Charlotte market. He also expanded his experience portfolio by serving as marketing director for a CPA firm. Plus, he did sideline reports for the NFL Carolina Panthers radio coverage, but mostly Ned is a newsman. He enjoys reporting on radio and is proud to be part of the WXBQ news team.

Carolina Panthers since that team's inception. Ned is a former member of the choir at Central Presbyterian Church in Bristol and was active in his church choir while in Charlotte. Ned is currently a member of St. Ann's Catholic Chruch in Bristol.

The real pride of Ned's life is his beloved Anne and his adult sons Michael and Patrick, both of whom live with their wives in Charlotte. As a side note: Ned has several kin and in-laws connections outside the USA - a daughter-in-law is from Ireland, a sister and brother-in-law live in Canada, and his brother Gerry and his wife live in Australia. Perhaps this has broadened Ned's understanding of the world.
