As Rabbit Station listeners wake up each morning, Steve Blevins gets them up to date with the latest local news on the Morning Air Show. Steve, who is a Kingsport native, has been covering the region as part of the Tri-Cities' most experienced team of award winning journalists for a number of years. Recently, Steve was named News Director for WXBQ and the sister stations of Bristol Broadcasting Company.

Whenever anyone around the radio station has a question about NASCAR, Steve Blevins is the one they look to for answers. Steve knows NASCAR! In addition to his WXBQ news responsibilities, Steve has worked as a

reporter/researcher/producer for the Performance Racing Network with Winston Cup and Busch Series broadcasts airing on stations all across the country. Steve has been around the racing world since the 1970s doing everything from television work on a short track series to a monthly column for a national magazine. Today his race reporting is distributed internationally. So it's no surprise that away from the office, you'll most frequently find Steve at a track somewhere from Daytona to Sonoma or anywhere in between.
