Steve is a Virginia boy - born and bred. He grew up in Danville where he learned to love country music, baseball, football, and cheeseburgers. He's a Baltimore Orioles fan and favors the Rams and Cowboys when it comes to football. Steve likes to participate in the games, too. He has played adult league baseball for a number of years. Yes, he's athletically fit although he claims to have a manic obsession with cheeseburgers. Steve has been married to his wife Dawn for 26 years and they have a 25 year old son, Brandon. As a newlywed Steve worked third shift in a textile mill but soon changed his career to broadcasting and has been very happy with his choice. Steve says, "I love the music I'm playing, and it's an honor to work at WXBQ!"
